There are many different aspects involved in order to be successful in digital art. To be successful you need to focus on not procrastinating. I know that is your favorite thing to do, but you will not get things done if you proceed to use that method. Continue to work hard and come up with new ideas. Step out of your comfort zone and try new things. Let your creative juices flow and do not be afraid to create new pieces. I recommend using new colors and techniques. Do not take too much inspiration from others because you want to be independent. This is my favorite project of yours. You did a good job at taking the cover art of the movie "To all the boys i've loved before" and putting your own twist on it. At first glance it looks the same as the actual poster, but a closer look disproves that theory. I feel like it was very creative and witty because they could actually create a movie about toys.      Many children go through hard situations in their home life. Kids can come to school and get away from those situations. Art, theatre, and music are outlets children use to express themselves when they do not know how. Without art the world would be a boring place. Finding out who who are comes through a means of expression. The school board system is so focused on making every child turn out one way. They have to have A's in all their classes. They have to act a certain way in front of their teachers. There is more to a person than school. High school is supposed to be enjoyable. But without art forms, the school would be a very boring atmosphere. Tax dollars should be used for the funding of children's wellbeing not just what the school tell them to do. Quality of Work At the start of the semester, I had no idea how to use photoshop. But towards the end I had a grasp of how to use it. I felt that the quality of my work was nice, but could have been better. I completed the majority of my work on time. I probably could have been more creative with my projects, but I treid my best. Effort It usually took me a half a class period to plan out a project. With a lot of trial and error, I came up with my designs. I love looking at others designs and seeing how creative they are. I get a lot of inspiration from looking at others work. I am usually hard on myself with my projects. Participation I am always on time to class. I try to work a lot on my projects during most of the block, but I get side tracked easily. I like to ask for others feedback, but I find myself working alone. 1. The vibe that I am getting from these images is woman empowerment. The women look confident and strong. They look intimidating. The first woman looks like she is standing tall. The second woman looks like she has a bent posture. 2. The first image looks as if it was made of oil paint or and oil paint type brush on photoshop. The second image looks like a picture of a real woman with paint on her and a photo was taken. 3. The backgrounds of both images are reddish. I feel like the red represents boldness and awareness. 4. I think the artists intent was to show the darker or more intimidating side of women. They do not have to look perfect and put together all the time. Woman do have power and are not afraid to use it.
